This package offers wraparound care from 35 weeks, up to the labour itself and in the postpartum period, pulling together my specialist training in pregnancy & birth to support the needs of the mother, baby and any other birth partners. It includes:
- one birth plan session (virtual or in person if possible)
- weekly pre-birth acupuncture from 35 weeks to encourage the optimal conditions for either a spontaneous, effective labour or a planned c-section
- additional sessions as required to encourage the commencement of spontaneous labour before any conventional intervention takes place / complementing conventional western medical interventions (e.g. scheduling a session around a cervical sweep)
- a one to one to teach acupressure techniques for use in labour with birth partners + the LOVE YOUR LABOUR materials
- home visits as needed to support the onset and progression of labour. This can include scheduling treatments specifically around cervical sweeps, or attending during the earlier stages of labour to encourage its establishment and progression
- support, advice and counsel throughout based
- two postnatal visits at home which will include a mother roasting treatment + any other appropriate treatments
- discounted additional home visits to support any post birth issues
